Skeet Gun Under $600

In your opinion what is the best semi-auto for skeet shooting which is under $600? I was thinking of getting a Mossberg 930 but would like to consider some more options.

Beretta 3901... I really like mine... I own an 1100 Skeet model too... Unless you really know what to look for, I would not buy a pre-owned 1100..

Forget the 930, 390s and 1100s, based on your signature, I'm guessing you'd be happy with a Saiga 12-Ga.

Correct. Price is a bit high now and I feel that NJ law kind of ruins the Saiga 12.

Look around for;
Used Beretta 390
Used 1100skeet
Used Benelli M1s with the sport rib
Used Super X1s, even the field model.
Used Super X2s and Browning golds/silvers.
and maybe the SKB autos would be fine.

Just bought a nice used Remington 1100 for $610 out the door. It looks new and was hardly ever fired. Excited to try it out.

chasep255, you'll love the 1100. I shoot O/U's 99% of the time, but when I want the adventure of an autoloader, I break out my 1100 skeet gun...

I use my 930 for Skeet all of the the time, works every time, I've never had a failure to fire or eject, even using very light target loads..... well over 15K rounds through it in 3 years - still going strong...
