Here's a picture of the little Bernardelli being held as it might be preparatory to shooting. (Gun was safe, magazine out, chamber empty. I let the slide forward for a better view and a better sense of scale.).
With the normal, as opposed to extended, magazine, there is room for one finger on the grip of the gun. Good that it's a .25.
Width across the slide is 5/8ths" and 3/4" width on the grips.
