Nikon warranty

I am purchasing a Nikon Prostaff 5 scope for my 243 and after conducting a thorough search of their website, I can find absolutely nothing about their warranty. Do they even offer a warranty on their products? Anyone have a link to their warranty info?

jms,

I've had problems with Nikon's warranty service. I bought a new set of ATB binoculars about three years ago for about $230. In the first year the rubber "armor" coating peeled off the bicocular's body. I sent it back to Nikon, at my expense, and they told me the rubber armor coating wasn't covered by their warranty and I would have to pay for the repair. I paid (it was about $20) and got a new set of binocs back. Unfortunately the new binocs had a lot of smears inside one objective lens, like resin or glue had smeered inside the glass. I didn't send these back as I thought this might not be covered by their "warranty" like the first issue. I can see OK out of one objective lens so I just use them as-is. Of course I no longer buy or recommend Nikon products. Good luck.

best wishes- oldandslow

I have a couple Nikon Scopes and kept the warranty info.
They offer a "Lifetime full warranty."
Even if you are not the original owner, they honor it.
No receipt required.

That is about as good as it gets in my opinion.

Obviously if you modified or misused the product, the warranty will not apply.

I might be a little biased because of my photography background, using all
Nikon gear but I really love their rifle scopes. Including the
Prostaff series.

I had a prostaff once that I could not get to hold zero at all and did not track very well either. They took it back and replaced it with no hassle
