Buckmark Dropping Magazine while Firing

I purchased a used Browning Buckmark recently that was in pretty good shape. Its got the fiber optic front sight, I shoot it great, I really love it. Recently, it started dropping magazines WHILE shooting. It's not just one of the magazines, its doing it to 3 of the 4. Any clue as to what's causing it? I know that sometimes shooters hit the mag release with their thumbs. I was being very aware of where my fingers were and I can say with confidence that I was NOT hitting the mag release while shooting.

The only thing I can think of would be dirt/grit preventing free movement of the magazine release button.

Does it feel gritty or fail to return to the at rest position un-aided?

Check if the t-shaped spring, that holds mag release ( on the right side) is in the right place.

I had one of these a few years ago that was shipped with a plastic mag catch. After a couple of hundred rounds the mags started popping out. I contacted Browning and they sent a metal one within a few days.

Of course you should also check the spring as mentioned above.

My Buckmark was similar however I just took out the
mag. catch - deburred both it and the frame hole - gave the spring just a tiny bit more bend - Voila! works perfect.
