Would you happen to know where in TX they hunted? It must not have been around where we hunt as no one has heard of it.

Ah, Halletsville! Lotsa good "Dutchies" -- Germans -- there, with polka music on the local FM. Czech polka music, as well. My Fertsch forebears settled there, way back. An umpteenth great-uncle, Captain Frels, was at San Jacinto.
The area is west of Houston a hundred miles or so, south of Schulenberg on I-10. My father's folks settled south of Cuero on the Guadalupe. During the record flood of 1998, my cousin trapped 34 hogs right at his house, driven up from the bottoms by the flood. |

Man that looks to be so much fun. I want to go hog hunting so bad but we do not have to many wild ones here in KY.

Collector, I should have a new curr dog or 3 soon. When I do, I will make it known. I invite folks to go with us behind the dogs for a NO GUNS hunt. Tied up or stuck don't matter to us much. No charge as we ain't pro guides just a fun hunt. No permit or license required either...
