Do you go through periodic gun apathy?
Gun apathy happens to me periodically, but I usually just need to indulge my other hobbies for a bit and my enthusiasm returns. I have a short attention span, which is great because I’m easily entertained with new things, but the downside is I grow weary of those new things pretty quickly and I never become an expert at anything. But having the four or five hobbies keeps me sane.
You folks?

I voted "Stop contributing to WA’s depression and get a life grymster."
Seriously though. If this is happening you need to pace yourself more so that you don't get tired of one specific thing. If you're due (I sure as heck am) take a vacation! |

Yes. I go from guitars to guns to guitars to banjo to guns to guitars and on and on...
I have already passed the point where I have all the guns that I need and more. There are a lot more that I would like and some that I would have if ammo prices hadn't gotten so out of hand. Even though I reload adding a new caliber is to me a time consuming PITA. |

Going out this year and seeing the prices on new guns sorta is ice on the interest in them. But sometimes I see a bargain or a surplus deal or something. Gotta watch for bargains but nowadays those are getting scarce I guess. Hear of people going to garage sales etc. and finding super bargains from estates and the like but I never stumble across those deals myself. I guess guys just post their amazing finds to break our hearts.

I had a good assortment of guns, and had a "master" list in my head.
I went probably 8 years or more without buying anything, and now I've bought four in the last year. |
