good buys on EBR Items
this isn't what you think I swear. we have all read the threads and the hype that there are no more magazines for AR15s, AK47/74s, Mini14/30s and the ammo is jumping above $1 per round. on the other hand nobody seems to pay much attention to the threads that people start showing good deals or just stuff in stock for normal price. if this thread is allowed to continue through this current hysteria it would serve as a public service announcement and possibly bring some of the panic down a notch or two.
DISCLAIMER: this is not a thread for complaining about gauging, availability or questionable business practices. it has nothing to do with an impending gun ban and if politics is brought up I will probably request the thread is closed myself as I am getting a little tired of the heated debates over conjecture. centerfire systems is advertising: AR15 30rd mags $20, not the best price for steelies but in stock at least M14/M1A 20 rd mags $25 AK47 40 round mags $20 let's hear your bargain hunting results.

I'll jump in here; looking for a Ruger SR556UFB or SR556UC upper. Anybody know someplace that actually has them in stock? (or anyone that has one for sale?)

I'm not sure if that's the specific model of SR556 you were looking for but heres a good one for only $1,150. the scope is a cheapo but for that price I would be more than happy to buy it.

Listed on dec 4. Doubt he would still sell it for that today. Prolly sold it locally when the panic started locally and forgot to take the listing down.

Cabelas has UMC for less than .50 cents per round. It's not an awesome deal, but it's brass cased ammo for a semi-decent price. They're backordered right now, but only 3-4 weeks out. That's not too bad. Good if you have a month's supply in the safe already!
http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...SBC%3BBRcms196 Also, they have steel cased 7.62x39 (Herters) for about .33 cents per round. In stock. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...3Bcat104532480 EDIT: Forgot to add that Cabelas is pretty good about backordered items. In 2009, when everything was crazy the last time, they took 2 extra weeks to get one order to me. Not bad considering that was a decent price and everyone else backordered for months out. I bought 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 for 23 cents a round and three 30-round Tapco mags for $25 ($8.33 apiece). All received a few days ago, all backordered now to Feb. or much later.

!!!!!!! .223 AMMO !!!!!!!
75 grain .223 ammo for 60 cents a round in stock. Given the times, and the fact that it's in stock, this is an awesome deal.

I would recommend limiting posts to found good deals only, and not "looking for X" posts, or questions about items in the found good deals posts. Take it private or better yet do your own research. Otherwise the thread is liable to fill up with confusing white noise ( case in point, this post) and mask the info it's looking to provide.
Just sayin... |
