price

If a gun shop or gun dealer would have a gun displayed at a certain price but that price was wrong due to the wrong label being put on it, wouldn't they have to sell that gun at the displayed price? If this would be true, I could have had a Beretta o/u 12 gauge from Wal-Mart for $500.

NO!

They are not obligated to sell at the marked price because of an error. Often, a store will sell at the marked price even though they lose money on the deal.

Some folks might consider buying an item like that as theft. I guess it's a moral issue. You know that they made a mistake and take advantage of it.

If it would ease your mind, just ask for a manager, point out the error to him or her, and ask if you can have the shotgun for the price that the store put on it. Who knows? Maybe they'll sell it to you for $500.

Usually retail stores will give you their product at the marked price even though it's an error.

I don't know if they legally have to do it though.
