Workshop air quality
regarding reloading workshop, does anyone operate a air filtration system while reloading? Is it a concern?

I make it a point to run my dry-media tumbler with the cover on and do the media/brass separation outdoors or in the garage. Other than that, I don't think there's anything that would affect air quality.

If you are NOT casting lead bullets I wouldn't worry about it.
If you are casting lead bullets I'll defer to the folk here who do that kind of thing. Although I will admit I've melted some lead in the far distant past, indoors and didn't take any special precautions. (Which might account for a number of things...) |

No air filtration system.
Wet tumble with stainless steel pins, so no dust problem. Outside of casting lead bullets, I can't think of any reason filtration would be needed for me.

The only really dangerous thing you are working with (assuming you are not casting lead) are the spent primers. Primers contain lead styphnate, its safley contained in life primers, but in fired primers some is still left, and can go airborne if you shake them around, , and can get on your hands and clothes when you handle them, and then be ingested later. I worry more about washing my hands when I am done than anything else...
