Are compensators legal in Illinois?

So I am thinking of getting myself an early (or maybe late?) Christmas present this year in the form of a Les Baer 1911 pistol.

I would like to get one of the compensated models for added fun at the range, but I have been unable to find any information on the legality of firearms compensators in the State of Illinois.

So I figured, why not turn to the experts here @ TFL.
Does anyone have personal knowledge/experience with the legality of compensators in Illinois?
