Glass bead, probably no larger than 80 grit.

beads

Sir
Yes, a fine glass bead works great and I have also had a grit called, BLACK BEAUTY does a little more agressive job if you desire it.

Hoy,
What is your desired effect of beadblasting?

Garnet will remove a lot of material in a hurry.
AL/OX Aluminum Oxide. ?
Glass bead ?

Plastic bead will not dimensonally change the base metal, but will remove surface coatings.

We also use water with our grit (vs air) for a fine finish; AKA HydroHoning.

The coarseness of the grit will also determine removal potential and time.

If you want a small amount of grit to try, PM me.
