Nikon Pro Staff scope

I bought it from wally world for 149.00 and absolutely love it. Its a 3-9 x 40 and super bright, I can see my bullet holes in the target now without having to walk down range. Very easy to zero, I have only used it once so time will tell if it holds zero.
Does anyone else have one ?

I do. Mine is the rim fire with BDC and 50yd parallax. I love it. Solid on my .17 HMR out to 200yds on prairie dog size targets.

I actually think it is clearer than my Leupold gold bring 3x9x40. But does not have as good of depth of field.

Just 10 cents.

They are a decent scope. The least expensive I'd recommend. The glass is clear and they do seem to hold up well enough. But there are other features on a scope that are worth a little more money to me. They are too heavy to suit me ane with very short eye relief. You often get a large black ring around the edge of the scope when looking through them. Sorta like looking through a round cardboard tube. There are other scopes that only leave a very thin black line with the image through the scope clear and sharp right up to that thin black ring. Makes it much easier to find your target quickly and shoot with both eyes open.

But for someone on a budget of less than $200 they, along with the Redfield are my top picks.

I have two.

One is on a Remington 700 .30-06, and I like it.

The other was on my BAR 7mmMag. That one I don't like so much. It isn't the scope, it's the combo of the scope and where the receiver is tapped. First shot, tagged myself in the eyebrow with the scope.

I may try to modify the mount, but for now it's a no-go on my BAR.

I have the Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 on some high rise mounts. Works great on my ar. At first it wasnt holding zero, I notices mount screw would loosen, used some loktite blue and they havent moved since. For the price cant be beat. IMHO

I have the BDC, but haven't had the rifle at a range longer than 200 yds.

Zeroed at 100yds, the first drop worked pretty well at 200, as advertised.

I have the 50mm objective version.

The image really is crystal clear: as expected with Nikon optics.

Mine is zero'd to 25m on my .22 and I hope to put the BDC reticle to greater effect when I go back to the range.
It seems very intuitive to use and the times I've looked at the Spot-On program and it looks very useful!
