Right now they are a Browning Nomad and an H&R 686 revolver. The H&R is more of a truck doorgun and resides there most times.
On the to get list are a Ruger Single-Ten and a Browning Buckmark Camper.

When I've thought of pairs...it was handguns. A Ruger SR9c and a Mark III 22/45......A Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 4" tapered barrel with a High Standard R-100.
It just occurred to me to pair the High Standard with my Mossberg US 44(b) and the Ruger 22/45 with my Takedown 10/22. Wow. Symmetry in two planes. Come to think of it, I tend to take three to the range each time I go, two handguns and a rifle. One trip, it's the SR9c, the 22/45 and the Takedown. On the next, it's the S&W revolver, the High Standard 22 revolver and the old Mossy bolt action 22. Damn....this looks like some weird gun OCD. Not that I'm complaining. |

What .22 handgun accompanies your .22 rifle?
With a Ruger 10/22, why would you need a .22 side arm? Go 9mm.

Ruger MKIII or LCR, as these are the only rimfire handguns I own. At the moment. Marlin 795 is the rifle.
When I finally have some extra dough again, I'm kinda taking a shine to the Henry Frontier. Then I would have to get a Bearcat. It's probably going to be a while, though... |

mk70ss, that little bearcat is a nice little revolver! I have never seen that model or looked into the bearcat very much since my hands are on the larger side. I just might have to keep my eye open for one of those.

had a ruger 22/45 for a long time, then i had a chance to handle the ruger 22/45 lite... the standard 22/45 is getting ready to be replaced as soon as i save up a little more coin.

I had a ruger mk2 and quickly traded it for a ruger single six with the 9.5in barrel. I highly suggest a revolver with interchangeable cylinders.

I second the motion on the Ruger Single Six.
Maybe because I'm a single action fan to begin with. |
