Bad tactics !

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...e-10-30am.html

If this is correct , she confronted the burglers , was shot , then got her gun and fired back.
Poor tactics,
If someone is in your house uninvited ,that is a danger!! Get your gun then call police ! Confront the BGs only if necessary !

Do you get your gun and call the police every time your cat bumps something during the day?

Once at the hospital, she also insisted of calling her veterinarian to ask them to collect her pet cats from her house

I have my gun ..... but if I did not, and found some random cat in my house, bumping into things, I'd go get one!

Yeah, that was bad tactics. If you shoot somebody, multiple times, you don't assume they are out of the fight. The burglars were idiots.

Yeah, I don't call 911 and grab my gun every time I hear a noise in my house. If so, I would spend a bunch of time walking around with a drawn gun and 911 would think I was a crank, LOL. Kudos to the elderly lady for not backing down and not being defeated despite being shot multiple times. Shot people often give up after suffering much less.

Just another reminder to be prepared.
