Russian confidence drill. Scary stuff.
One guy actually shoots another guy in the vest, then the guy who was shot in the vest has to shoot head shots at the silhouette next to the first guy. This is done at 3-4 yards. I would never do anything like this!!

Strikes me as dumb machismo more than valid training.
How about we keep force on force exercises to simunitions rather than actually shooting our buddies? |

those crazy russians... i do wonder what sorts of stress-inoculation drills u.s.a. special forces go thru that they keep secrete. i'm sure they do something that's at least in the ball park of what the video showed. how else can they make training of their top-level operators realistic? to be effective they must approximate realism and dangers of the real world, imo... perhaps, the many navy seals i've talked to on this forum can chime in?
