I notice several people have their vibratory tumbler on their reloading bench - how do you keep the dust down with it up there, and do you load while it is tumbling a batch?

Both the dust and noise would drive me insane. I have all of my tumblers out in the garage well away from my reloading setup.

Schmell, use your vibratory tumbler when you are not in the loading area. Turn it on then walk away then return at some point later.

That does not eliminate the fact that vibratory tumblers create dust, even with the NuFinish and old dryer sheet tricks.

I SSTL tumble anyway, the vibratory tumblers haven't been turned on in quite some time now.

Different strokes for different folks, just one of those things I would never be able to tolerate having inside the house.

I stand to reload & 99% of benches are too low for comfort. I built mine to the height of my bent elbow while standing.
Amen! Standing bar height is ideal IMO. I've tried to sit and get comfy at a friends table height bench and I found I was way more fatigued after a few hours. Might have something to do with leverage?

Use a dryer sheet cut into approx. 2" squares to help keep the dust down. Replace them every 3-4 tumbles. Works quite well for me.

I add a few drops of mothers car polish when i tumble. No dust and my brass comes out looking with a better than new shine.
