Polymer Baby Desert Eagle
Hi all,
I've read some reports on the forum from folks that have the steel Baby Desert Eagles. Generally they seem pretty positive. But I'm having a hard time finding some good reports on the polymer versions. I'm talking about: http://www.magnumresearch.com/Firear...t-15-round.asp Seems kind of interesting. Sort of like how I would have wanted the CZ-P07 to come out (though sans the slide mounted decocker). Any thoughts? -TR

Not on the polymer but the all-steel is by far my fave to shoot!
I am interested in hearing the opinion on this as well! |

I guess I'll take that as a big No.

Can't go wrong with a gun like that for 600 bucks or less.

Haven't shot the Baby II but the semi-compact fits my hand nicely. The polymer framed compact 9mm is 9 ozs. lighter than the steel framed compact.
I have wanted to buy the compact version but haven't handled the steel v. polymer framed to see the difference. Unless you plan on firing 10,000+ rds. through your gun I'd think the poly frame would be the best CCW choice. It's really how it fits your hand and feels when holstered and carried. I haven't read anything contrary about the reliability of the Baby IIs in steel or polymer frames. "Everybody has a plan until they get hit." M. Tyson |
