.270 WSM, Savage Striker - What to expect?

I'm considering buying a new Striker in .270 WSM and I can't seem to find any data on loads for this caliber in a short (12" +2 muzzlebrake) barrel. I'm trying to figure out what sort of velocities to expect, and if the bullets available , especially Ballistic Tips, Failsafes, and maybe Interbonds will still perform OK at the reduced velocity produced by the shorter barrel. Even something on factory loads would probably point me to where I want to go, but I can't seem to find anything. Any help?
