Top Break MP-412 (?)
Have any of you had personal experience with the top break MP-412 revolver?
I have doubts about the gun holding up to full pressure .357 mag rounds, but I have never seen one much less shot one. |

The gun was never put into full production nor exported to the United States, so you're probably not going to find very many people who've even seen one in person much less handled or fired one.
It's certainly an interesting revolver. It was designed well before Ruger's LCR, so it probably holds the title of first polymer frame revolver. I do, however, wonder how well it would hold up to .357 Magnum pressure and recoil and how well it would be able to extract the long .357 Magnum cases (top-breaks usually require relatively short cases for full extraction). |
