Bipod for AK47 Variant?

Any bipod suggestions for this (keeping the wood furniture)?

don't do it. If you're looking for long range, bipod stabilized accuracy you've got the wrong cartridge and the wrong rifle.

If you have to have a bipod get a cheap folding steel bipod so that you won't be out much money or have permanent changes to your rifle when you realize how useless the bipod is for a weapon that was designed to be fired on the move with semi aimed fire by ssemitrained conscripts.

The AK is a wonderful weapon, I own a half dozen of them, but a bipod is a waste.

I ended up getting one of these for $20. If I don't like it, I am not out that much. I don't intend to always have it on there (it is a clip-on), but as AKs go, my Aresenal SAM7S is pretty accurate. I have the side scope rail with a weaver scope mount. I have been doing some outdoor range shooting and it would be nice to be able to reach out a little further...
