Brownell's 20-round .223 mags. Anyone got 'em?
Found a few of these at the gun store today. I needed some for prone shooting with my Stag AR - they were kind of an impulse purchase. I heard that the Brownell mags were pretty good, so I bought 'em.
I have the ones with the black follower. Anyone else have these? How reliable are they?

Gov accepted mags- or the hind sight of them does not instill a great feeling of confidence to me. In '03 we were issued a bunch of brand new Okay Industries mags that were plumb awful! The feed lips were so rough they felt like they were hewn with a chain saw. Only after fine file and/or stone work could we get anywhere close to a reliable 30 round capacity. The Brownells 20 rnd mags I have seem much better. I've only been able to use one for basic sight-in, so not many rounds through it- but it did what it was s'posed to do.
