Sig P220, bought ~15 years ago. For reasons having nothing to do with my shooting skills

I shoot it like I was born with it in my hand. Dead-eye dick does even begin to describe the results. Very weird

Walther PPQ.

I love how it feels in my hands. I love the trigger. I love that it refuses to fail, at 4,000+ rounds and counting. I love the mag release. It's easy to be accurate with.

Simply put, it's damn near perfect.

seriously tho, probably the hk p7 or one of the 1911s. the p7 is just so unique and easy to be good with. the 1911's are gorgeous and shoot like a dream.

Don't have a picture, but my slightly customized Colt 1991A1 (ORM) has been reliable and accurate with anything I've put thru it. From 200 grain WC to 255 grain .45 Colt bullets to HP's.

Mine is my P229. Never had a malfunction of any kind and feels more comfortable in my hand than any other gun I have owned.

S&W 3913. Light weight, thin, easily concealed, good capacity, tack driving accuracy and bet your life reliability.

Well, it kind of evolves.

Right now, it's a Ruger SR 22.

It's been reliable. It's cheap to shoot. It's fairly accurate. It's light and easy to carry.

I like shooting pop cans filled with water. Pine cones. Paper plates. Targets with numbers on them.

I've taken it to the creek bottom looking for cottom mouths, but they were clearly so frightened of me with that pistol that they hid. Since it's been in the thirties the last few nights, snake season is probably over until next year.

I have a serious love / hate relationship with a high cap Makarov PM in .380. The thing is so accurate, I can't bring myself to trade or sell it. I shoot 25 yard groups as well with it as I do with my 1911, and it is not quite 2 inches shorter. It's not supposed to do that! I hate it though, because it will only run reliably when - well it never seems to.

I love the triggers on my 1911's, but nothing feels as natural in my hand as my Hi Power (just an israeli clone - no $$ for the real thing - YET).

If I have to pick a favorite, it would be the Hi-Power.

Small enough to carry (easily)
Big enough to shoot well
Great capacity for its small size
Easy to conceal
Mine has been 100% reliable
Accurate
Inexpensive
Durable
All-weather
Can run higher capacity mags from the G23 or G22 (and G19 & 17 if you are using a 9mm barrel)
Field strips in seconds, detail strips in a couple of minutes using nothing more than a 3" piece of metal coat hanger.
Lots of aftermarket parts/upgrades available, no fitting required, installs in seconds without tools.
Can run many different aftermarket barrels and lengths allowing for 9mm, longer/ported 40s&w, 357sig, and other less common rounds.
Feels good in my hand, points good for me.

Its easily the most versatile pistol I've come across so far.
And for the ultimate in expansion, there is also a high quality 22lr upper available for the G27, it too installs in seconds.

My favorite is a .22 pistol- namely my 6.875" Ruger MKII Stainless Gov't Target Model.

Although I can afford to shoot whatever I want in the way of centerfire ammo, the accuracy and comfort (in terms of not being exhausted by recoil, loud muzzle blast, economical) afforded by that gun is what makes it my favorite. I can also use it for squirrel/rabbit hunting which makes it more of a sporting proposition than if I use the shotgun.

I really like my 97b as well but not quite as ergonomic.

BTW I did some calculations, and the guy with all the 1911's has about $95,000 worth in that picture, if not more.
