Don't know anything about a 593. They did make a 595 Police, which was a bolt-action 12 ga. that was basically a beefed-up 395. Mossberg's current semi-auto is the 9200 series. Their first semi-auto was the 5500 series.
For information on the current Mossberg lineup go to www.mossberg.com
