Factual view on gun violence vs other "violence"
As is commonly known, much of the rhetoric put forth by control
advocates are facts that are slanted, even half truths, or totally false. A little research on readily available public sites often sheds a great deal of light on this issue. This columints has done just that, and makes several valid points useful in blunting or outright disproving argumets we are often attacked with. http://www.citizen-times.com/apps/pb...D=200990702084 |

I do not disagree with the conclusions of the article but I surely would like to see something written from an objective viewpoint once in a while.
"suffer from gun control" "defenders of the second amendment" These terms (suffer and defend) are designed to elicit an emotional response, just like the term that the author dislikes "gun violence". How about just the facts, without the spin?

Everyone has an angle. At least this angle is more towards what the people (generally) on this board agree with.

There are those without an angle. They are called "undecided". Some of them, sadly, most of them, will be convinced by emotional arguments which is why both sides use such arguments. Just once in a while though, I'd like to see something written that doesn't have a foregone conclusion from the first sentence. "Here's the facts, they speak for themselves, you decide."
