Left Handed Holsters
Does any other Left handed Shooters have a hard time finding left handed holsters at a reasonable price, I have been trying to find a holster for my Ruger P95, I was carrying a 1911 clone and had a Fobus paddle type...I got spoiled now I am looking for a paddle holster for my Ruger P95, I liked the ease of removing the holster when I came in the house and then slipping it back on when I went out.

Lefties
Got to agree. It's got to be tough to stock a wide range of leathers(plastics) from a dealer's point of view, especially what I've got to believe to be us low volume lefties. I tend to just order them to my specific needs. I have reboned a few with varying success but at this point pretty much let the experts at it.

Fobus catalogs a left-handed paddle holster for the Ruger P-series. If you were happy with the other one, you can just stay with them. FIST also has a wide selection of left-handed holsters.

Left Handed Holsters
I am in the "wrong handed" monority, also.
www.fobus.com www.ebay.com These are the 2 locations I use. I do not knoow about Fobus but e-bay has worked for me. When you go on to e-bay you need to know: [1] What the retail price of any item is. [2] What amount you are willing to pay for the item. |

I think Galco makes a bunch of stuff for lefties. Drop the list down at the top of the page.

John Bianchi was left handed himself and when he ran his own company would make the full line for both left and right hands - I've been told often left handed came first. Today of course it's a different company.
I don't know anybody today who offers a full mass produced line both left and right handed and for the custom makers dies and patterns are a real expense. I often get better results from sending a double postcard snail mail to a vendor than I do from e-mail although it may take a while. Pays to make the NRA annual meetings and talk to the exhibitors too. |
