I'm a little late on this thread, but when is this going to be released?

Not to hijack the thread, but is the KISS bullet feeder still around?

That wasn't developed by RCBS; it's a knockoff, probably under license, kind of like the Hornady case feeder.

rcbs bullet feeder
I just went to the RCBS website and they list there bullet feeder as available in April 09 with a list of $495, comes complete for all pistol calibers. Looks like a copy of kiss or gsi. It looks pretty simple not a lot of moving parts, collator feed tube and a die that will fit standard thread presses. I guess we will have to wait on its release to see how it works.

RCBS... I wanted a piggyback conversion for my Reloader Special 5 press. Unfortunately RCBS wants more for the conversion kit ($400 Midway USA)than a new progressive press would cost. I bought a Lee progressive and haven't regretted the decision yet. I still use the RCBS press for rifle reloading.
Can't figure why someone would spend $100 on a press and then $400 on an upgrade to go progressive, especially when it won't auto index. Times are changing rapidly in this world. People won't be spending $500 on bullet feeders for long.

Well, you guys are sort of off the mark here......the KISS and GSI are not cheap either, and and really it will work with other brands of reloaders ie Dillon and Hornady! And, 495 is MSRP and I bet the street price will be under 400!

Other than the novelty, and having something else to post about on forums like this, I just don't see how a bullet feeder dramatically speeds up the reloading process on a press like the 650.

Another thought... Times are changing... Stay away from reloading press accessories that require electricity.. The power could go out one day.

KISS
I will be resuming sales (fairly soon) of my invention under the brand name of Mr. Bulletfeeder TM I'll provide warranty/customer support for exisiting "KISS" owners as well. If you're interested, Google search Mr Bulletfeeder for the new website address. Unfortunately, the "KISS" brand name is unlikely to be used in the future due to a legal dispute between my ex-partner and I.
