^^^ My Glock 21, G-30 and Sig P-220 outperform any 1911 I own. That is including a Springfield Professional AKA (The FBI HRT and SWAT) model! Ain't that a b****! Oh well, good collector value and bragging rights!

I love my 1911s, and carry one in the winter time.
In the summer time I carry my Kahr P45. |

Kahr CW45. Much thinner and lighter than the xd45c and even the xd9sc that I've had. The recoil on the CW is less than that of the bigger and heavier S'field .45. I've had zero feed/eject issues with mine and it's also quite accurate. The PM45 is on the wish list.

I love my Glock G30, it's my choice for carry. I could also carry a full sized 1911 or a Sig P220, but the G30 is much more compact and lighter. And of the three, I shoot the G30 the best, it just feels right in my hand.
I don't understand all the talk about the G30 grip being too fat, I have small hands (I'm only 5'7") but it fits my hands just fine. |

Try shooting an HK USP Compact in .45ACP. I think you'd like it. If you prefer a full size pistol the HK45 is a nice piece.
