Of those listed, I can vouch for iSnipe. It's a good program and lets you see average performance of just about every factory load available for just about any caliber. You can also input your handloaded ammo bullet type and velocity to give you rough calculations for windage and bullet drop. It's not pinpoint accurate, but it got me on paper at 500yds, no small feat for me.

This is a great list, thanks for sharing. I use the free Winchester app - very simple and mostly only has rifle ctgs, but hard to argue with the price! I just yesterday downloaded Gun Log. Looks handy but have only toyed around with it so far (and it's cheap at $0.99).

More updates. I skimmed through iTunes "sports" category to try and find more apps. I did. A lot. Too many to post the links or to sort by topic, so I'll just list them alphabetically. If you see one of interest, merely go to the iTunes Store, select Apps, and then type in the app name.
The iTunes Sports had most of the hunting apps. Later, when I get time, I'll go through iTunes Utilities, which is where I expect to find most of the ballistics calculations programs. I skimmed through the App Store 'Utilities' category pretty quickly, and I found a few more apps.
Later I might get ambitious and attempt to subcategorize all the apps as I did previously with 'Trajectory Calulators', 'Range and Shop Locators', etc. I like the results of that effort. There were several apps I considered but ultimately passed on. These were night vision simulators. I thought there was some potential for these, even though iOS devices don't have real infra-red sensors, but the reviews I read convinced me that these apps were just a gimmick. I thought they might be able to take regular light images and enhance them in the way that the Camera+ app can take regular photos and then sharpen and brighten them with its edit tools. I use Camera+ now for all my iPod still photos, although I still use Apple's Camera app for video. I was hoping that the night vision simulator apps would perform some sort of real-time image enhancement where I could just hold up my iPod to a dark room and it would show me what my eyes could not see, but apparently not. Since Camera+ can do this with images it captures (photographs), I was hoping that some program can do this in real time with the uncaptured camera image. Meanwhile, my slightly revised list follows.

Another group of apps I looked at briefly were range finders. I’ve got one of these, although I haven’t found the time to do anything serious with it yet. These seem to be the real McCoy. Mine takes two consecutive images several paces apart and calculates distances and heights based on the difference in the images. Very clever stuff, but I think it might take some practice to get it to work well.

I added categorization and I removed a few apps from my previous list. Not all apps are equally good, of course. I suggest reading through reviewer comments, and especially looking at an app’s average score.
Further improvements to this list that could be made in the future are 1) include more apps; 2) include price; 3) include iTunes links; 4) differentiate by iPhone and iPad; 5) compile a list of mobile apps for devices other than iOS. Can your phone do this ? Legal Heat doesn't appear to be in the AppStore anymore, nor does Right2Bear. Did they change the name or do they simply not exist anymore?
Shame too, a friend showed/told me about it and I was about to buy it....

A minor update to the list. Gun Log has many functions, so I decided to put it in a separate category. I removed one of the Legal apps that is no longer available, and I corrected the category for Mil-Dot-Ballistics.

Start your own list of gun related games, I guess.
I'm not including games because I don't think any serious shooter looking for additional information about firearms or shooting is going to download a game.
