Targets
I'm looking for the best place to get the targets that show a color when hit. Cabela's sells them for ~$10.00 for 5 of them. That seems a little high to me. Is there a cheaper place to get them. Also any suggestions as to which type to get. I will be shooting handguns and rifles at them.
Thanks |

Couple years ago there were recipes for making your own. Might try googling!

I picked up some at Farm and Fleet. It was 10 for $9.99
They are cool because you can see the hit from a pretty good distance but that is all I would use them for "Distance" shooting as they cost soooo....... much!:barf: http://www.farmandfleet.com/products...target%26p%3d2 |

I think you could easily make some with bright orange paper and some black temper paint. Maybe a bottle of white out for the dot in the center and the circles.

Wal-mart, assuming one is near by. I love the ones that change color when hit.
Dick's sporting good always has targets on sale as well as clay targets which are great for plinking.... have a good one... |
