Factory rifles and long throats.

Hello again. I have a question and I think it should go in here. I'm ready to buy a new rifle, but I handload and want a short throat so I don't have to seat bullets way out of the case in order to get them close to the rifling. So my question is this. Which manufacturer's rifles have the shortest throats? Or do they all have lawyer throats now? I thought I read somewhere that Savage rifles still have fairly short throats, but I'm not positive. I do know that I bought a 700VLS a couple years ago and it came from the factory with a very long throat. But any knowledge you all have to give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
