Had CHL permit for almost a year now (man time flies). Was hitting the range three times a week for a total of 300-500 rouds a week (at least).
After I became confident in shooting skills range trips went back to once or twice a week to maybe 50 to 100 rounds per session (specialized work) tops. Every now and then I'll go Rambo and waste a couple of hundred rounds blowing off some steam but not that often. |

I try to get out every other week, but it averages out to once a month. Had my permit less than a year.

I may get to get out once a month now that it is cold and I am busy at work.
I have had a permit for around 30 years. Since I turned 21.

I go shooting about once a month, more than that if I can get off my lazy a$$ and get to my bench long enough to get enough ammo loaded up to make the extra trips with.

Where I live a rifle/shotgun/pistol permit is required. I must wait 3-6 months to be background checked etc before the permit will be issued.
i'm expecting my rifle/shotgun permit to arrive in spring 2008 and my pistol permit to arrive in summer 2008. In the meantime I go to the range with my licensed buddies and use their guns.... I cant wait till my permits come so I can start a collection of rifles/shotguns/pistols |

I have had a concealed carry permit for 34 years, and I shoot a minimum of 100 rounds/week in practice. We are fortunate here in Huntsville, Alabama, to have a fine in-door range at Larry's Pistol & Pawn, so there are no excuses for not practicing often.
I also shoot in a local IDPA match (also at Larry's) approximately twice a month. Boarhunter |

I try to make it to the range at least once a week as I find shredding a helpless target a great adult pacifier. Don't need a permit here; however, I'm applying for my CCW on Monday before the laws change - which I'm sure they will depending on who gets elected...

I usually shoot about once a week.
I don't have a CCW permit, but fortunately you don't need one in NC to shoot, just to carry concealed (which is a joke here considering how many places you still can't carry even with the permit). |
