Thumbhole stocks for Win 70
Does anyone make an aftermarket thumbhole stock for the Winchester 70? Or do I need to get it custom made?

Steve,
Try Wenig Custom Gunstocks. I haven't bought anything from them, but have heard they are pretty good to deal with. They list thumbhole sporter stocks, in Walnut, other premium hardwoods (Maple, etc), and laminated. http://www.wenig.com Mac

Steve B:
Depending upon what you want to do, Richards Microfit makes a thumbhole semi-inlet or drop in stock for that rifle. Possibly there are synthetic stocks out there also. Go to SEARCH: Type in gunstocks, you'll find what you need and want HJN |
