Berry 124 RN, Which powder W231, Titegroup, HS-6 or #7
Titegroup is cheapest, I use 231 for my .45 and HS-6 for my .40 S & W.

Which bullet is better considering the price difference. All are 1000 124 gr RN Rainier 35.99 (+ shipping) Dealer price Berry 44.49 (Dbl struck) Free Ship West Coast 46.00 Free ship Monatana Gold 52.00 (Must be 2000 rds to ship + 5.00 added to Residental orders) Thanks |

If you want to load full power, HS-6 is hard to beat. For lower pressure loads Titegroup is good.

I have used the berry's with 4.0 grains of titegroup as a target load. It works very well and shoots accurately out of my g-26, and my 92 compact. Max is Ithink 4.5 with a reported velocity of 1150 out of a 4" barrel.

Assuming you’re talking about 9 mm. I've been using Titegroup for all plinking loads and it works fine. It is consistent and clean burning in 9, 45, 38 and 44. Standardizing on Titegroup was an attempt to reduce the number of powders I have on hand. Since it worked great in the cowboy loads I was using I tried it on everything.
For loads that are close to max I have used AA#7 for a good while. It gives good velocity and comes close to filling up the case. Of course it uses about twice as much powder per load. Another powder that is supposed to be good in 9 mm is Power Pistol. I bought a pound because of a recommendation by a fellow TFLer (best velocity) but haven’t had a chance to even open the can yet. Of the bullets you listed I've only tried Rainer so I don't have a basis for comparison. |

For your Copper Plated Bullets, Use the West Coast 46.00 Free ship. If you can find some people to make up a larger order about 5000 there prices come down a good deal. West Coast also has the thickest plating and are all Dbl struck. I use there 124FP For my 9MM.
As far as a powder goes if you like W231 for your 45 ACP and want to stay with one powder it works great in 9MM. Here are a couple of my pet loads. 124 FP West Coast 4.2Gr W231 OAL 1.070 Lee Crimp Die 124 XTP Hornady Bullet 4.5 W231 OAL 1.120 Lee Die ( Match Grade) This is a max load Tony PS. here are some web sights with good loading data. http://www.loadyourown.com/loaddata/default.asp http://www.reloadammo.com/ http://stevespages.com/page8a.htm

POOP
HS6, OAL 1.145-1.160", Power Pistol IS very very good in 9mm, Rainier 9mm bullets work superbly at any price.
