Worst Loading Bench Shambles On TFL

This is embarassing, but I shamefully submit my winning photo.
Haven't done any relaoding in the last month and a half, and have been tied up in a renovation project, everything seems to pile up in the wrong places.

I will concede to cracked butt, but I would probably wrap up second place without much difficulty. Can't do a pic until the camera gets back from repair

We have a winner! No more entries, please.

Holy mackeral, cb! That is embarrassing to look at.

Now get busy, that renovation work can wait.

Mine was pretty bad last friday but I cleaned it up over the weekend and reorganized. Nothing to compare to cb's though.

Here's how it would normally look:

Not really the neatest, but at least workable.

i'm sure it's a function of high shutter speed and weirdo LED/POV tricks, but the appearance of a broken down $5 clock radio really is the cherry on top. Too bad there aren't any half eaten ham sandwiches or anything, that'd be a pulitzer winner.

Magnificent! Cracked Butt - You Are The Champion!

Most of my domestic organisation ranges between chaotic and disasterous. It is only thanks to my wife that I haven't foundered and sunk beneath my own debris. My shed is a nightmare too.Unfortunately my wife refuses to have anything to do with my gun room, or with what she calls 'my dirty toys' in the shed. Doesn't stop her giving me an earful though.
I rationalise it of course. I tell myself 'I know where everything is - so what's the problem?'
I don't usually let on that the problem is my Guilt.

Cracked butt - you have given me hope. Maybe tomorrow, or next week sometime I'll really have a serious think about mabe doing something about the mess.

The rest of my basement worksop is a mess too- boxes of christmas decoration crap, powertools, buckets of paint, and various other forms of flotsam and jetsom. I'm currently finishing my basement and last week I was spraying drywall texture so that everything got shoved into my gunroom. My wife is not allowed in the basement until I have it finished- I'm afraid she might have a gripper when she sees that a bachelor has been living in her basement Another few weeeks, and I'll have the whole shebang done and things will go back to lesser states of chaos.

Ok, I give. I bet I can make a solid 3rd.
Been remodeling for the last month. Haven't reloaded since last summer.
I'd send you a pic of my computer bench to tide you over but I think my camera is under a mountain of crap somewhere upstairs.
I have my bench stacked so high I can no longer see my dillon 550.
I HAVE been ordering components, though.
My last 3 orders add up to over 50,000 bullets.
Those are stacked on my bench. (Had to make room for paint, drywall, new stairs, carpet, ceiling tiles, bags of cement, piles of lumber, etc.)
When I get this remodel done, I'm gonna buy myself a present.
A case feeder for my 550.

As it is now, I could prolly spend 2 hours cleaning it, and still win a solid 3rd.

Believe it or not, this is my awesome NEW, IMPROVED reloading setup. The old family desk, with the top of the old roll-top that my son didn't want any more.

I love the roll-top. EZ to organize all the primers & stuff.

The previous setup was the kitchen table in the winter, the picnic table in the summer, with the press "C"-clamped when needed.

Somewhere about here I've got the hands down winning photo... But it was taken after spring run off caused a leak (read river) directly onto my reloading bench which is in the basement.

But I'll not post due to feelings of embarassment that someone might think it's how I normally keep the bench. Besides... it was a freak, one time occurance not fair to compare with on a standard basis...... And I can't FIND the dang photo!

Ok, if Charlie can do it, so can I. In keeping with the title of the thread, I haven't cleaned up or rearranged a thing. It's been neater and it's been a lot messier.

What, Mal? No Bud Light cans?

I like that rifle rest. Commercial, or did you build it?

The rest is commercial, the one Midway sells. Sure helps when cleaning, mounting scopes, bore sighting, etc.

Impact,

Think maybe your pic is messed up. All I'm seeing is the girl poster and a flourescent bulb.

Mal, I see 5 boxes of Oregon Trail Lazer-Casts. What caliber do you load them in? My 1911 loves those bullets. They're all I shoot through it. I load .44mag with them, too.
