Take off the front scope mount and check for a crest underneath. Also, check for proof marks under the barrel.

it has no other markings on it...maybe under the barrel, i haven't gotten that far yet. |

Check your bolt face, if it looks like this
it's a conversion from a '93. If it is, I would not shoot commercial 308 from it, only soft hand loads.
