Marlin '94 25-20m

Have an old Marlin rifle with a serial number 403265 and cannot figure out when it's from. Marlin's registry ends in 1906 with 355300 and doesn't pick back up again until 1948. Does anyone know what was happening in between there? Thanks

FWIW, Marlin discontinued Model 94 production in 1933, & resumed today's modern Model 1894 production in about 1969.

Since I know a Model 94 SN in the 372xxx range dates from late 1907/early 1908, I would WAG your rifle's DOM roughly a year later.

The 1948-to-date SN listings are for the Model 336 & 39a at first, then later including other Marlins.
