True, but the gun doesn't go out of style.

I purchased both a 84 and 85 some months ago and love them.

Unobtanium where I'm at....I settled for a CZ 83.
But always loved the Beretta/Browning .380s'.
I had an early Taurus clone(forget the model 3) that I should have kept.

A '78 m84 was my first handgun. Inherited it from my grandfather when he passed. Still love it. I carry an LCP instead now, but the 84 is my main range gun and it's the reason that 380 the only centerfire caliber I keep on hand.

It eats anything! I also inherited a box of old ammo of random makes and ages. It's fired all of that and at least 8-10 other types of new ammo and various reloads. It's never misfired once.

I also agree that the rubber Hogue grips are fantastic. It's already not a small grip by modern standards., but the hogue gives it just a bit more girth for my big hands.

Here it is before the new grips.

I have the Browning BDA 380, it's a very nicely made gun, very smooth trigger

made by BERETTA, I like to shoot it at the indoor range, Beretta 84fs magazines work in the BDA pistol

I would like to have a Beretta 84fs but they are no longer available in CA

it would look nice with my full sized BERETTA 92F in 9mm

These are outstanding little pistols. If you are wanting a .380, this is one of the best.

A resurrected thread is a good reason to post a pic of my newly resurrected, (used), 84f. Been waiting and shopping for one so I'd have a gun to go with my Farrar grips that I bought previously. Beautiful, top of the line, world class pistol.
