new guy from the netherlands

hello
i am new on this board
i just starting to reload for my mini 14 and my 30m1 carabine
hope to learn a lot here

Thanks Guys

i have a mini14 and it has a twist of 1 in 7 and the 55 gn bullits are to light
i bought some speer 62gn bullits and ordered 2230 powder
now i am searching for the load data
maby i must buy 68 gn bullits
its nice i hope to find the right combination and shoot in one inch

I think you are going to find it difficult to get a mini-14 to shoot 1 inch at 100 yards, even with good handloads.

I had 2 Mini-14 ranch rifles, and even with decent scopes they wouldn't do better than 2".

i want to buy a remington 700 but they are so exspensive overhere
you guys are lucky the stuff is verry cheap in the US
i paid 600 bucks for my used 1989 mini
my 30m1 carabine was cheaper
if i get my other powder measure i go and load for both

If the cost of reloading components is a major factor for you, you may want to get a Lyman bullet mold 311359 for the carbine. I used that bullet for many years without a gas check and only dipped it in melted 50/50 alox. I did get some leading but I was used range scrap that was most likely too soft. You can always get a lube/sizer later and add gas checks. I used 2400.
The last FMJ 55 grain bullets I bought were 3 cents each. Lots of things do seem to be a lot more expensive over there. (I lived in Germany from 1970-74).

i order my bullits now in the us
i buy a lot more in your country the dollar is verry low now
onley primers they dont send it to me
just came from the range i shot whit a baretta c4 storm and a uniqe alpine tpg1 thats an awsome sniper rifle
this was my 115 time i got to the range today this year
