three gun matches in NC

Guys and ladies

I've had a 1201FP for a couple of years now and just purchased a Bushmaster "shorty". I live near Charlotte, NC and would like to get in some 3 gun matches. I'd like to start out in novice competitions for now until I get the feel for things and as more money starts flowing in from position here at work.

Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

Check here: http://users.gloryroad.net/~idpa/ . I've never been to one of their 3 gun matches but their IDPA matches are some of the best. Oxford is probably 2 1/2 hrs. from Charlotte.
