Pat Rogers
I just wanted to say that Pat Rogers writes the most informative and professional gun-mag articles I've ever read. Outstanding! Head and shoulders above the crowd.

I second that!!!
I really enjoy Mr. Rogers' articles, and lo and behold, sometimes I can actually learn something from them. Can't say that about all the other articles in the mags these days.
Hey Pat, I enjoyed the new write-up on Strider Knives. You should be an ad man, it made me want one! |

Thanks!
Hi Monty (and everyone else!)
The reason that i wrote about Strider is because they make good stuff. Add that to the fact that they have honor and integrity, and are major supporters of the military. For example, since the 11Sept atrocity, a number of individuals have purchased knives to be donated to those deploying. For every donation that comes in, Strider matches it. There are other examples of course, but they are genuine good guys. I bought my first Strider, an MT, several years ago. It is the best knife that i have ever owned, bar none. I have purchased several more since then, including one last week, for my Brother. He is a firefighter in FDNY, Squad Company 1. They lost 12 men in that insult. One point that was made evident after talking with a lot of Firefighters, cops and ordinary people is that a flashlight and a utility knife/ tool made the difference between going home and being buried in the worlds largets garbage dump. (BTW- he always carries 3 knives- so that he can access at least one regardless of his body configuration at any time). Rob- it sure would be nice to do another carbine course in LI. Maybe when things slow down some. Last edited by Pat Rogers; February 8, 2002 at 09:15 PM. |
