Permanently attached suppressor?

If you bought a suppressor and paid the tax stamp, exc exc... and permanently attached it to a rifle with a 11.5-14.5" barrel, if the length of the barrel and suppressor combined were beyond 16", would you still have to register the SBR, or would it be considered legal at that point?

You'd be legal and you wouldn't need to register it as a SBR.
