Does that stuff really shoot?
more to the point will it not bounce off a paper target?

Something about a 114g bullet in a 45ACP just don’t seem right. I would just use lead.

From what limited information I can find it is very effective close range but looses velocity and energy very fast. Not really interested in doing 45 acp but more of a learning tool for future 300 blackout casting. I have a 45 acp mold that I don't use so it became the guinea pig for this project.

Does it cast at the right diameter? I figured it would cast small.

I've thought about making zinc #4 buckshot to use on geese, but aint had the time yet. And I need to talk to a game warden to see how I could prove it was'nt lead. The local warden here knows I cast.
