Clip Draw for Glock?

Has anyone had any experience with the "Clip Draw" product for Glocks? I had one (Kel-tec OEM) on my Kel-tec PF9 and it was great. I wondered if the clip draw was similar and If you would or do feel safe with carrying with a round in the chamber that way?

This may not help but.....I keep one on my RIA 1911. I keep it locked and loaded. I think its a great additon but I never carry it outside my property.

and exactly what protection is there against the trigger being pulled accidentally ...

NOTHING.

This is an infinitely bad idea. I believe from what I remember clip draw advocates condition 3 for Glocks or buying one of their trigger block dohickies, which is removed by pushing something into the trigger guard area...

I've got one on a Kel-Tec P11 that I carry occasionaly in the small of my back when I wear shorts....but then the P11 has a very heavy DAO trigger pull and I feel comfortable with that. I wouldn't carry a Glock with a standard 4.5 lb trigger pull even with that safe action trigger.....but you can change those out for a heavier pull......is that what the NY trigger is, sorry can't remember, there are several different trigger pulls available for Glocks.

Glock + No Holster = Bad news IMO.

Bad idea in general, really bad idea with a Glcok and a stock trigger.
IMNSHO, a properly mated belt and holster make carrying a weapon much more comfortable and insures that the weapon will be exactly where I want it at all times.

i just installed the clip draw on my g22 last night. The install went without a hitch, you just need some type of punch or small metal rod to hold in the spring to get the back plate off. I tucked it in the back of my waistband and it felt ok........the g22 is a little big but it felt secure enough for walking around carry. The others bring up some good points about carring this way and safety, i might have to consider putting one of those safetys on my glock if i was going to carry like this all the time. I will probably go with an iwb holster as well, and just keep the clip draw on there for times i dont need/want it holstered.

I have one on my keltec p32 and really like it on that gun, but its way smaller too.

Hmmm.... That's a minus for the Glock... I really enjoy being able to carry the Kel-Tec that way. It did have a heavier DAO trigger. There was also a lot of travel in the trigger as well. Thanks for all the responses. I'll have to consider this all very carefully!

Plenty of guys carry them like this, because the clip draw usually holds the gun in a way where the user's belt is covering the trigger guard. I seriously doubt anything can protrude through one's belt to grab the trigger.

Reholstering (or reclipping, I guess?) would be fairly difficult during a situation, but other than that there is no reason a Glock can not be safely carried between a belt and a body with a clip draw.

Issues of the intended use of Clipdraws on semi-automatics aside, they may not prove as compatible in hard use as some would like, as more than a few folks with bloody hands following aggressive pisol manipulations have learned.
