Lever action henry in 22lr loaded with subsonic remington. I keep it as my "bb" gun, and it gets used the most. Did you know that subsonic and shorts have about the same speed out of the barrel?
The same, except that it is usually loaded with CCI subsonic shorts or subsonic LR.

If you compare CCI subsonic shorts and long rifles, they are the same velocity.

The Marlin 917v has killed many squirrels. It has a 4-12x Redfield scope. Accuracy is outstanding.

Boy someone really went to the archives to dig this post up.

Bet you everyone who posted has changed favorites during the last 7-8 years.

I have a LOT of firearms. My favorite for just blasting away ammo is a SGWorks converted SKS. NC star combination 3-9 with holo, lazer/ flashlight combo front hand grip, and muzzle brake. 147 gr spam can ammo. Its my only "black" rifle.

Hard to say, which is favorite.

Since it has begun to be made of unobtanium, ammo is a primary consideration. I like my Mosin Nagant and SVT40. Today they are relatively inexpensive to shoot.

Else a Russian .177 air pistol, as while projectiles cost a little, the propellant is free.
