UpLula Mag loader Homemade accessory
UpLula Mag loader Homemade accessory
I just received my Cabela's order and I bought an Uplula. I learned how to use it, and found that my magazines for my FHN FNX45 are dome shaped, and slip on the bench while using the uplula, making it difficult to use.. I'm new to semiauto-handguns so not much experience loading mags. To eliminate the rounded bottom slip, and the angled bottom of some of the other magazines I have, I came up with a "Magazine Steadier" I know it is a lame idea, and I'm sure someone makes these things. scrap 2x4 and some 2 1/8, 2, 1 3/4 and 1 5/8 forstner bits ( and a bit of stain & sealer) presto. |

That's pretty cool, I may have to give it a try. I have the FNP Tactical, but the same rounded-bottom magazines. I often just prop them against my leg when loading, but I can see the need for a holder on a flat surface...thanks for sharing the idea!
