My other new grips

This uberti hombre was the second revolver I sent off for custom fitted grips.
I removed the flat blued finish with steel wool which left this nice steel color and I wanted something other than the factory brown grips.

These are ebony grips done by Joe Perkins at Outlaw grips in Phoenix AZ. Cost was about the same as the colt navy except shipping was a little higher, this being a cartridge pistol I shipped it by FFL. I can highly recommend Joe for quality and customer service also. Turnaround time was about 10 weeks.

You can see the fit and finish is exceptional on these also. You might be able to notice that these are a slim profile grip - they don't flare out at the bottom like the standard colt grips. Joe calls them competition profile grips. They really don't feel that much different from the original shape. Shooting is very accurate with them.

Very nice, were the take off grips 1 piece, and do you want to part with them?
