Semi-Auto 20GA?
I'm looking for a new slug gun, and I think I've narrowed it down a 20GA semi-auto. I would really like to have a rifled barrel as well.
I haven't shopped for a 20GA in over 20 years so any help would be much appreciated. I heard about the Remington Versa Max but several people tend to think they're junk. |

Several people will tend to think anything they don't own is junk. The VersaMax is most assuredly not junk, but it is also not available in 20 gauge.

Yeah, the VM is one of the best platforms on the market, but no 20s and no slug barrels.
The Benelli M2 rifled barrel 20g is probably the best of the bunch for your criteria. |

I know you said semi-auto, but if you plan to shoot only slugs, a bolt gun like the Savage 220F is 20 gauge and might have a slight edge in accuracy over multipurpose shotguns.

In the silver line of guns ....Browning has some options for you in the 20ga semi-auto / and a couple are rifled as well.
