Aac evolution .40 vs gem blackside

i'm looking to get the aac evo for my usp 40. i've tried goggling the db drop for the gem but i can't seem to find it. does anyone have experience with both? i don't want to take a stab in the dark and just go with the evo but it's looking like that might me the one.

You may want to consider the Silencerco Osprey. Major Malfunction in Oklahoma may have one on the shelf. I have the 45ACP version in process and Silencerco claims it's a hearing safe dry can. I'm going to see how the 45 performs and if it's to my liking I will get the 40SW because it's my favorite round.

You are correct in that AAC has the Ti-Rant but they haven't made it in 40SW and no one knows when they might consider producing it. I own an AAC 762SD rifle can and it is a very well made and quiet can. So I would already have a Ti-Rant in process if they had it available in 40SW. As for true db reduction all you can do is get the can and roll your own ammo to get the can Hollywood quiet.
