molly resin coating

i have a card from a guy in sullivan missouri that does moly resin coatings. i see him at a gun show and he had several differant displays that looked reallly really nice. marcus johnston is his name, [email protected] is his email. and im sure if thats to much money a good parkerizing job would be an excellent choice aswell.

I had my beat up police trade in 870 refinished by Mac's Shootin Irons. Gun Kote over parkerizing.

From this:

To this:

The finish retains oil very well, is slick, and is robust. I'm very happy with it and the service. I had a 1911 done up by the same folks.

I had my old police trainer refinished at Arizona Response Systems (ARS) . They did a real nice job. It is a finish that I can handle and not worry about rust at all. Great for a neglected gun like a HD SG that spends more time sitting than getting used. They were even able to remove an etched-in (shakey hand) police number from the receiver.
I also had a gun done at Hot Flash but this was re-blued and requires the same care as any blued weapon. They did a great job though.
