Taurus PT92AF malf ?

I have a Taurus PT92AF and been experiencing a malf. When I first bought it(used but new in the box) I noticed the trigger in the SA mode very sloppy. Now I have put 500+rnds through it, the problems really began. After the slide recocks the hammer upon firing the trigger will not realease the hammer for another shot. I have to decock with the safety and fire it in DA mode. It does this about 75% of the time now. And only under firing conditions. I have failed to duplicate it by hand.

Has anyone had these problems before or know of a fix. Finding a gunsmith around these parts if challenging.

I'd recommend you contact Taurus. They have a lifetime warranty. George
